The Member of NAPS Board is Mr. Ivan Solej born on the 2nd of December 1981 in Košice. In 2005 he completed his studies at the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice, Faculty of Law where he later completed his Doctorate’s Degree. In addition to domestic training in the field of language training and protocol, he has completed internships and training courses on foreign security and defense policy at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy at the University of Geneva, the European Security and Defense College in Brussels, as well as the Marshall Center in Garmisch -Partenkirchen. He gained his work experience in management positions in several non-governmental organizations, such as junior lawyer or lawyer in ING Life and Pensions. He worked also for the Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic. As head of the largest working sub-group, he also participated in the preparation of the informal meeting of defense ministers of NATO member countries held in 2009 in Bratislava. Ivan Solej is external assistant lecturer at Faculty of Commerce of University of Economics in Bratislava. His hobbies include politics, reading books, listening to music and sports. |
