His All Holiness Bartholomew I, Archbishop of Constantinople – New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch, spiritual leader of 330 million Orthodox Christians around the world, sent a letter to the Director of NAPS Institute with appreciations for Patriachate’s long-term close cooperation with the NAPS Institute as well as the results of Slovak civic associations’ activities.

„We hasten to thank you personally for sending us a copy of your book entitled “Institutum NAPS 2004-2019”. This extensive record of history of the NAPS Institute is truly a testament to your great accomplishments over the past few years, highlighting, among other things, some common goals that your organisation shares with our Holy Centre, the Ecumenical patriarchate, such as solidarity, dialogue, ecumenism and an appreciation of each other’s musical ministry.

With this opportunity, the Mother Church of Constantinople would also like to express our thanks for the valuable work that you do, and pray that you continue to bring together the liturgical and musical traditions of the many faith traditions. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has inhibited our capacity to come together in filial love in person, we retain our support for the NAPS Institute, and look forward to the resuming of the NAPS International Ecumenical Concert in September 2021.

Once again expressing our appreciation for our continued close cooperation, we send our Patriarchal greetings and blessings to you, your gracious wife, and all the esteemed members of the NAPS Institute, and we remain with the highest esteem and respect.,“ stated His All Holiness in his letter.
