In March 2020, Pope Francis’ closest collaborator in ecumenism, Swiss Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, celebrated his life’s jubilee.

The Cardinal received the congratulations sent to him on behalf of the NAPS Institute by its founder Peter Solej and, in a letter dated 7 May 2020 His Eminence, among other things, writes:

„ … I recall with joy the tangible constructive signs of the commitment to Christian unity which I experienced during my visit to the Slovak Republic in October 2017. Our Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity is always most encouraged by the efforts made at the local level to find ways to offer a shared witness and ecumenical action.“
