Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia: “I bring you greetings from Pope Leo XIV.“

The Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the Slovak Republic, H. E. Archbishop Nicola Girasoli, opened the XVII. NAPS International Ecumenical Concert 2025 with his address as follows:

„Your Excellencies, distinguished representatives of public life, distinguished colleagues from the diplomatic corps, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters! It is a great honor for me to greet you as one of the representatives of religions present at this seventeenth international ecumenical concert NAPS – Nostrae Activitates Pro Slovakia.

I bring the greetings of Pope Leo XIV and my superiors in the Vatican.

This concert promotes dialogue and fraternity. I thank Mr. Peter Solej for his ecumenical efforts. Ecumenism unites us while maintaining respect for our differences.

Tonight we feel this atmosphere of unity also with artists who create bridges of peace with their art.

Let us continue on the path of ecumenism with courage, hope and enthusiasm. Thank you!“
