Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher Visits Slovakia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, visited the Slovak Republic at the end of January 2026. His Excellency’s official visit took place on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty between the Slovak Republic and the Holy See.

On this occasion, the Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Slovakia, Archbishop Nicola Girasoli, hosted a ceremonial reception, to which he also invited representatives of the NAPS Institute. During the social event, members of the NAPS Council had the opportunity to personally greet the archbishops and engage in informal conversation on several current topics.
